Sharkey and Caro Pick Up Points For USA Field Hockey In Argentina

PRINCETON, N.J. – The United States national and U-21 teams finished their test trips to Argentina over the weekend.
The national squad, featuring Cat Caro '17, Kathleen Sharkey '13 and Princeton assistant David Williamson, dropped its four meetings against the Argentinian national team, which is No. 3 in the world. Caro assisted on a goal in game two of the series last Tuesday. Sharkey added an assist in game three on Saturday, a game which the U.S. held an early 1-0 lead before losing 2-1. The United States U-21 unit, featuring Sophia Tornetta and Elise Wong, fell in its three matches against Argentina. In game three, the U.S. lost a close 2-1 decision. You can read USA Field Hockey recaps of the series here along with replays of the games.
