Princeton Has Three Selected To USA U-21 Squad

LANCASTER, Pa. – Maddie Bacskai, MaryKate Neff and Elise Wong were named to the U.S. U-21 national team while Sophia Tornetta was picked for the development squad, USA Field Hockey announced today.

Princeton had the most players on the U-21 team followed by Louisville, Maryland and Old Dominion.

Bacskai and Wong were imperative members of the Tigers' backline in 2017. Princeton was 18th nationally in shutouts per game (0.26) and goals-against-average (1.50). Neff finished second on Princeton with eight goals and was fourth on the team with 19 points. Tornetta snagged 11 points for the Tigers last season.
