Princeton Looks to Continue Run Versus Loyola

The Tigers look to extend their three-game win streak on Tuesday when they host Loyola in the final game before Ivy League play begins. Princeton, has rebounded from a 1-3 start, and is now 4-3 on the season. Senior Jeremy Colvin has scored each of the last three game-winning goals. He is now tied at the top of the scoring column with senior Sean McSherry, who has scored two goals and two assists. Offensively the Tigers double up their opponents in shots, with an average of 14-7. Junior Jacob Schachner has three shutouts in goal this season and a 0.69 goals against average and a .762 save percentage.
Princeton and Loyola are tied at 5-5-4 in the all-time series. Princeton won the last meeting, a 1-0 decision in Princeton in 2014 to end a three-game run for the Greyhounds in the series.
Loyola is 3-2-1 on the season, and like the Tigers have faced their challenges with weather, with two games being cancelled and one being added on the fly. The Greyhounds opened Patriot League action on Friday, hosting the reigning champion Colgate and playing the Raiders to a scoreless draw. Brian Saramago leads the offense with 10 points on four goals and two assists. Saramago is the only Greyhound with multiple goals, as Gabriel Carlsson and Barry Sharifi have one goal and one assist apiece. Chase Vosvick has played every minute in goal and owns a 0.77 GAA and a .737 save percentage.
