Sophia Tornetta snagged two goals to pace the offense while Hannah Davey, Jane Donio-Enscoe and Clara Roth also registered tallies. Yale had just two shots in the first 66 minutes and was outshot by 21 in the game (25-4). The Tigers had a 9-1 advantage in corners as well in the victory.

Donio-Enscoe got the Tigers on the board six minutes in as she dribbled around a defender and scored.
Princeton was seeking to add on soon after as it put up two consecutive shots including one off a corner, but the Yale goalie, Sydney Terroso, denied both. Donio-Enscoe was looking for her second tally of the night with 13 minutes remaining, but Terroso, again, blocked the attempt. A short time later, Roth had a 1v1 breakaway situation with Terroso, but couldn't sneak it by.Tigers Goal!! Jane dribbles around a defender and whips it through! After a turnover by Yale, Davey dribbled along the right side of the field, found Donio-Enscoe in the circle, who delivered a quick pass to Roth. Roth tapped in her fifth goal of the season as the Tigers jumped in front, 2-0.
Princeton improved its lead in the second half as Sophia Tornetta corralled the ball off a blocked attempt from a corner and ripped a far angle shot that went in for her fifth tally of the year. Princeton now has three players with at least five goals (Neff, Roth and S. Tornetta).Tigers Goal! The senior captain picked up her second goal of the night in the 56th minute on a well-executed play on a corner. After she inserted the ball, she stopped near the goal line and was left open for an easy tap-in.Tigers Goal! Sophia with a far angle shot that gets through. Davey recorded her first collegiate goal, ripping a hard shot that snuck in off a corner. The freshman leads the squad with six assists and now has eight points overall.Tigers Goal! Tic-tac-toe!
