Tigers Win Nuttycombe Invite Open

Results
The Princeton men's cross country team won the open men's 8k at the Nuttycombe Wisconsin Invitational on Friday, Sept. 28. The race took place on the Thomas Zimmer Cross Country Course - the site of the 2018 NCAA Championships - giving the Tigers a feel for a course they hope to run on in just two months time.
The Tigers had an average time of 24:59 and a score of 48 to come out in front of eight other squads. All seven runners finished in the top 20 in the team scoring race.
Princeton was led by junior Conor Lundy who ran a time of 24:58.2 to take 14th overall. Right behind him was captain Gannon Willcutts at 24:58.4. Both senior Jeremy Spiezio and sophomore Ed Trippas clocked 24:59.6 and junior Perrin Hagge was the final scorer at 24:59.8.
In two weeks, Princeton hosts the Princeton Invitational on West Windsor Fields. The Tigers won this Invite last year, out of 21 teams. It will be the final competition before Ivy Heps on Oct. 27 - also being held at West Windsor Fields.
