Tigers Open Ivy Season with Big Green

The Ivy League season begins on Saturday, when Princeton hosts the defending Ivy League champion Dartmouth on Sherrerd Field at 1 p.m. The Tigers are 4-4 on the season, coming off of a 1-0 loss to Patriot League favorite Loyola from Tuesday night. All four of Princeton's losses have been by a single goal. Seniors Sean McSherry and Jeremy Colvin each have six points. Colvin has scored three times - all three of which were game winners, while McSherry has two goals and two assists. Junior Jacob Schachner has played every minute in goal and owns a 0.72 goals against average and a .769 save percentage.
Princeton owns a 39-23-8 advantage in the all-time series with Dartmouth, which began in 1922. The Tigers are 24-7-6 against the Big Green when playing at home and are looking to snap a four-game winless skid in the series.
Dartmouth began the season 0-4-2 opening up against two nationally-ranked squads - Indiana and Notre Dame. In the past week, the Big Green have recorded overtime wins over UMass and Albany. Justin Donawa and Tiger Graham have both scored two goals apiece and take the majority of shots for the team. Henry Stusnick and Christopher Palacios have split time in goal Stusnick was in net for both of the team's wins so expect to see him start on Saturdayu. He has a 0.55 GAA and a .824 save percentage.
