EYE ON THE TIGERS
After a three-week break from action for final exams, the Tigers look to keep the momentum going as they host former head coach Jeff Kampersal '92 and the Nittany Lions on Tuesday night. Princeton is No. 4 in the nation with the nation's longest unbeaten streak at 18 games - having not lost a game since the season opener at No. 1 Wisconsin. Overall the team boasts a 13-2-5 overall record and is in first place in the ECAC Hockey, with Tuesday's game being the final non-conference match of the regular season. Princeton has two skaters with 30+ points, led by freshman Sarah Fillier. Fillier ranks second in the nation in points per game with 12 goals and 20 assists in 16 games. Junior Carly Bullock is sixth in the nation with 14 goals and 16 assists in 20 games. Freshman Maggie Connors adds 24 points, ranking 18th overall and third in freshman scoring nationally. Junior Claire Thompson is third points per game for a defenseman with 19 points. Sophomore Rachel McQuigge has started in 14 games, and has the seventh-best goals against average at 1.61 and ninth best save percentage at .937.
THE PRINCETON/PENN STATE SERIES
Princeton has a 6-1-1 advantage in the all-time series, which began during the 2012-13 season. Last year the Tigers earned a 3-0 shutout at Pegula on Jan. 30, with Carly Bullock scoring twice in the third period.
SCOUTING THE NITTANY LIONS
