PRINCETON, N.J. – The Princeton women's track and field squad will host the Princeton Multis on Wednesday afternoon at Jadwin Gym.
This is a one-day pentathlon event featuring just the women's squad along with athletes from Eastern and Adelphi starting at 12:00 p.m. Frances Lodge, Mikaela Sawyer, Lindsey Schmidt, and Kajsa Souter will take part for Princeton. The day will have the 60m hurdles, high jump, shot put, long jump and 800m dash.
In their last contest, the Tigers easily took home the HYP title, outscoring Harvard and Yale combined. "I'm obviously very pleased with the meet," said head coach Michelle Eisenreich about the HYP. "I'm happy with the number of races we won and how ready we are for the top teams in the Ivy League."
Some top performers from the HYP include Gillian Wagner winning the mile (4:46.75), Allie Klimiewicz's personal record (9:37.64) in the 3000m, Katie DiFrancesco in the 200m (24.88), along with Emma Daugherty (1.63m), Frances Lodge and Hadley Wilhoite (1.58m) in the high jump.
