Princeton Puts Seven in Top 10 at Paul Short

Princeton finished all eight of its runners in the top 12 in the men's open race at the 46th Lehigh Paul Short Run. The 8k was held on the Goodman Course with senior Conor Lundy competing in his first race of the 2019 season.

Lundy, a three-time first-time All-Ivy League runner in cross country posted a time 24:30.6 to take fourth overall. He was followed up two freshmen, Camren Fischer 24:30.6 and Connor Nisbet at 24:30.7 in fifth and sixth place. Junior Matt Grossman, a first-team all-league runner last fall was seventh at 24:31.3 and was followed by Viraj Deokar, a two-time second-team all-Ivy pick in ninth place at 24:32.2.

In two weeks Princeton will test its crew at the Nuttycombe Invitational at Wisconsin on Friday, Oct. 18. The rest of the squad hosts the Princeton Invitational on Saturday, Oct. 19.
