Roth Named Regional Player of the Year

PRINCETON, N.J. – Clara Roth was selected as the First Point USA/NFHCA Mid-Atlantic Region Player of the Year, the NFHCA announced today.

Roth is the first Tiger to receive the honor since Katie Reinprecht in 2012. The junior set career highs in goals (16) and points (43), both of which led the team. She led the Ivy League in goals (0.82) and points per game (2.14) while placing second in assists per contest (0.50). She placed inside the top 22 in the country in those categories as well. Roth is now one of 11 players in all-time to reach the 100-point milestone as she now sits 101. Her 31 career helpers are tied for fifth while her 35 goals places her right outside the top 12.

Princeton wrapped up the season at 16-5 overall. During the season, the Tigers registered a 13-game winning streak which was the second longest streak ever. It was the fourth time Princeton had reached the National Championship game.
