Where We Left Off
The Princeton men won the fifth consecutive Ivy Heps title and 22nd overall. There were four individual champions including Joey Daniels in the 60-meter hurdles, C.J. Licata in the shot put, Andrei Iosivas in the heptathlon and Adam Kelly in the weight throw. Kelly went on to be named the Most Outstanding Field Performer, the Mid-Atlantic Field Athlete of the Year and was the runner-up in the NCAA Championships.
The women finished fifth at Ivy Heps behind a championship performance by the DMR of Peyton Brown, Allison Glossinger, Madison Offstein and Gillian Wagner. Hanne Borstlap and Obiageri Amaechi were the runners-up in their respective events, the pole vault and the shot put.
Here Last Year
The Princeton men won three events at this meet last year with Joey Daniels winning the 110-meter hurdles with a 13.88. Adam Kelly claimed the win in the hammer with a throw of 69.68 and August Kiles took the pole vault title with a 5.23. The Tigers had seven second-place finishes including Carrington Akosa in the 100 and 200, Spencer Long in the 400 hurdles, Ed Trippas in the steeplechase, the 4x400 relay, Mitchel Charles in the shot put and Robbie Otal in the discus.
Kennedy O'Dell claimed two wins and fourth-place finish in the throws. She won the discus with a 47.80 and the hammer at 56.68. Rylie Pease was the runner-up in the javelin at 44.69 and Allie Klimkiewicz took second in the steeplechase.
