Junior Jesse Thibodeau put up a big PR in the long jump as he reached 7.87 (25-10) on Day 2 of the Miami Hurricane Alumni Invitational. He jumped three PRs today as he began with a 7.77 then reach 7.84 and 7.87 on his third attempt. Thibodeau's previous best was a 7.46 from Indoor Heps this past February. His 7.87 is third on Princeton's top-10 list as he becomes the first Tiger to jump more than 7.80 since 1996 when record holder Ugwunna Ikpeowo '96 leapt to 7.93.

Freshman Greg Sholars clocked a PR in the 100 with a 10.56 and is now tied with Charlie Volker on Princeton's top-10 list at sixth. Fellow freshman Simang'aliso Ndhlovu also made his way into the top 10 with a PR 10.62 – which ties him for eighth place. Sholars also had the top time for the Tigers in the 200 with a 21.77.

Princeton went 5-6-7 in the intermediate hurdles led by junior Gab Montefalcone with a 53.45. Freshman Taraje Whitfield was sixth at 54.75 while junior Justice Dixon posted a 54.84.

Sophomore Robbie Otal took fifth place in the discus with a toss of 49.43 (162-2). He also had throws of 46.46 and 49.13.

In the triple jump freshman Dayo Abeeb placed sixth with a jump of 15.01 (49-3). He also reached 14.46, 14.81, 14.97 and 14.99 on his other attempts. Senior Stefan Amokwandoh was seven with a 14.98 (49-1.75) on his third attempt.

Kelton Chastulik took fifth place in the shot put with a throw of 16.85 (55-3.50) with his big toss coming on his last attempt.

In the relays, the 4x100 clocked 41.16 to finish ninth while the 4x400 was fourth with a 3:12.81 (1:37.04, 48.17, 47.60).

At the Rider Invitational in Lawrenceville, sophomore Sam Ellis won the 800 meters with a 1:52.65. Ellis clocked a PR in the 1500 last weekend at Sam Howell. Joe Sartini was fourth at 1:54.48.

In the 100, junior JC Colangelo took eighth at 11.16, while Daniel Afolabi clocked 11.30
