Harisay, Davidson, Steele and Randolph Move Up Top-10 List After Miami Invite

Day 1 Recap
Sophomore Julia Harisay threw a new personal best in the shot put with a 13.70 (44-11.50). The throw came on her second attempt as she moves into sixth place on the Princeton top-10 list. Harisay was also ninth in the discus with a 42.57 (139-8), with all throws over 41 meters and her best coming on her fifth attempt.
Sophomore Obiageri Amaechi was third in the discus with a 55.73 (182-10).
Freshman Hanne Borstlap won the pole vault with a clearance of 3.90 (12-9.50). She passed on 3.00, 3.15, 3:30 and 3.45 was over 3.60, 3.75 and 3.90 on her first attempts. She was just shy of her PR of 4.00, while she tried 4.02 on three attempts.
In the triple jump, senior Kerri Davidson leapt to a PR of 12.47 (40-11) to take fourth. She improves upon her previous best of 12.27 from last year's Heps when she placed fourth. The mark moves her from third to second on Princeton's top-10 list. Teammate Kara Steele also moved up the list into fourth place with a PR of 12.31 improving upon her 12.27 from last year's Heps.
Another personal best came from senior Ellie Randolph as she shaved one hundredth of a second off her time with a 13.79 and is now tied for second on Princeton's top-10 list.
In the 400 hurdles, senior Carly Bonnet was fifth at 1:01.11 while junior Devon Block-Funkhouser was 10th at 1:02.99.
More PRs came in the 400 with junior Heide Baron clocking a 56.89, and in the 100 as freshman Grace Lanouette put up a 12.26 in the 100.
Senior Jackie Berardo was the runner-up in the 800 with a 2:08.83(1:02.351, 1:05.479) just off her PR of 2:07.46. Senior Anna Jurew was sixth at 2:09.82 (1:03.024, 1:06.787).
In the relays, the 4x100 clocked 48.24 to take seventh while the 4x400 was fifth at 3:50.25 (1:58.85, 56.45, 54.95)
The personal bests continued at the Rider Invitational in Lawrenceville, N.J.
Senior Allison Glossinger clocked 56.82 in the 400 besting her previous record of 58.05.
Senior Marie-Fee Breyer did double duty in the 800 and 1500. She was ninth in the 800 at 2:20.79 and seventh in the 1500 at 4:48.14 both just shy of her previous bests. Sophomore Clare Martin posted a 4:52.83 to take 10th place.
In the high jump, freshman Emma Daugherty cleared 1.60 (5-3) for fourth place while junior Hadley Wilhoite was fifth at 1.55 (5-1).
