Women's Lightweight Rowing Set For Class of 2006 Cup Vs. Georgetown

PRINCETON, N.J. – The No. 2 nationally ranked Princeton Tigers welcome the No. 6 Georgetown Hoyas to Lake Carnegie with the Class of 2006 Cup on the line.
The Princeton V8+ made a big statement last weekend at the Knecht Cup, earning a silver finish behind No. 1 Stanford. The Tigers toppled then-No. 2 Boston by four seconds, trailing just the Cardinal. The fours provided one of the most dramatic finals of the entire weekend, winning the 'A' final by .02 of a second over Boston University, and 2.72 seconds over Stanford.
The Tigers are 15-1 all-time against the Hoyas with Georgetown's only victory coming last year. These two squads have raced for the Class of 2006 Cup every year since 2007, although they have battled nine times in the regular season since 1999. The full schedule for the contest is listed below …
