Sophomore Obiageri Amaechi had a personal best, Princeton record and Ivy League record in the discus with a 57.22 (187-9) today. Amaechi had already held both the program and league records after a 56.98 from the USA Junior Championships last summer, a month after she earned All-America honors in her first NCAA Championships. This season she is on par to make the NCAAs again as she moves into the top 10 in the nation. All of her throws today were over 52 meters.
Sophomore Julia Harisay was fifth in the discus with a PR of 44.32 (145-5) which moves her from 10th on the Princeton top-10 list and into eighth.
Senior Carly Bonnet won the 400 hurdles nearly breaking 60 at 1:00.01 for a new personal best. The time moves her from seventh on the Princeton top-10 list and into fifth place moving past teammate Devon Block-Funkhouser. Block-Funkhouser who is coming back from injury clocked a 1:02.37 to take third this afternoon.
Three Tigers qualified for the eight-person final of the 100 hurdlers with senior Ellie Randolph, freshman Isabella Hilditch and freshman Kajsa Souter. Randolph ran a PR of 13.80, the third best time ever clocked by a Tiger and the best since record holder Nicole Harrison in 1997. Randolph's previous best was a 13.94 from the 2017 Ivy Heps. Hilditch ran a 13.83, the fourth best time on Princeton's top-10 list. Souter had the best time in the final at 14.40.
Both 4x100 and 4x400 relays had great afternoons. The 4x100 of Randolph, Ashley Willingham, Grace Lanouette and Hilditch went toe-to-toe with St. John's, with the Red Storm winning at the tape but less than one hundredth of a second, 46.64 to 46.72. The Tigers' time is the seventh best time on the Princeton top-10 list. The 4x400 of Samantha Anderson, Bonnet, Block-Funkhouser and Willingham recorded a win with a time of 3:48.48.

Her time bested her previous 10:30.07 from just two weeks ago and is now the seventh best time in the Princeton records book.
