Princeton To Have Six Representatives At 2019 Young Women’s National Championship

PRINCETON, N.J. – The Princeton Tigers will have six representatives at the 2019 Young Women's National Championship (YWNC) at the Spooky Nook Sports Complex from June 14-18.

Sam Davidson, Krista Hoffman, Ali McCarthy, MaryKate Neff, Julianna Tornetta and Sophia Tornetta will participate at the YWNC. The 144 athletes at this event will play for the opportunity to be selected to the 2020 U.S. U-21 Women's National Team and U.S. Women's National Development Team, or a trial for the U.S. Women's National Team.

Princeton finished 15-5 overall in 2018 and reached the NCAA Final Four for the second time in three years. More than half of their victories (eight) came against ranked opponents, leading them to be named the No. 3 overall seed in the NCAA Tournament.
