Women's Open Rowing Has Each Boat Reach Saturday's NCAA Semifinals

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. – The women's open rowing team had each of its three boats move on to Saturday's NCAA Rowing Championship Semifinals.

The races were delayed several hours as racing did not get started until 4 p.m., as NCAA crews had to clean debris off the tracks. The V8 team produced the best time in its heat (6:16.77) by almost a second and half over Iowa to advance to the semifinals (8:36 a.m., 8:48 a.m.). The 2V8 unit placed third in its preliminary race (6:29.08), securing its spot in the semifinals (9:24 a.m., 9:36 a.m.). The V4 unit picked up a third-place finish in its heat (7:13.83).
