No. 7 Princeton Honors Seniors With Win Over No. 19 Syracuse

PRINCETON, N.J. – The No. 7 Princeton women's open rowing team wrapped up the final home race at Lake Carnegie in 2019 with a 5.8-second victory over the No. 19 Syracuse Orange.
The 1V contest saw the Tigers finish the race at 6:30.6 while Syracuse was 6:36.4. Princeton also won at 2V with a time of 6:45.5. The home unit also earned wins at A4 and B4 while Syracuse nabbed a win at 3V.
This was the final home contest for the Class of 2019 (Lauren Barnard, Rebecca Blevins, Shuying Sarah Cheng, Claire Collins, Emily Erdos, Emily Kallfelz, Sadie McGirr, Hannah Paynter, Madelynn Prendergast, Ellie Sawyer, Shelby Shearon and Prabha Upreti). That group will go for its fourth Ivy League title on May 19.
