IRA Announces All-Academic Team That Features 38 Tigers

PRINCETON, N.J. – The Intercollegiate Rowing Association (IRA) has announced the All-Academic Team for the 2018-19 season, the organization announced.
To be eligible for recognition a student-athlete must have maintained a cumulative GPA of 3.35 or higher, completed one full year at their institution (freshmen and first-year transfers are not eligible), be an institutional letter winner and also competed at the 2019 IRA National Championship Regatta.
The men's heavyweight group had 14 members named to the team in Oliver Schwartz, Sebastian Benzecry, Ryan Hutzley, Brandon Levy, Chris Lawrie, Andy LeRoux, Jim Palmer, Micaela Keller, Matt Doyle, Jens Clausen, Jonny Naylor, Frederik Johne, Tassilo von Mueller, and Gordon Johnson.
The men's lightweight squad also had 14 rowers selected to the team in Samuel Breckenridge, Jordi Cabanas, Riesa Cassano, Daniel Chao, Sydney Edwards, William Hess, Danny Hogan, Marcus Jonas, Gregory Kernisan, Charlie Kwitchoff, Theo Long, Gianni Pompili, Tyler Skow and Adam Teece.
The women's lightweight unit had 10 picked to the team in Grace Cordsen, Isabelle Chandler, Kailey Dubinsky, Emma Hopkins, Rebecca Mays, Heather Milke, Grace Miles, Georgia Hellard Timm, Lauren Sanchez and Laura Zecca.
