Women’s Track & Field to Host Princeton Invite Sunday

PRINCETON, N.J. – The Princeton University women's track & field teams will host the Princeton Invitational Sunday inside Jadwin Gymnasium.
The Tigers will host at least 23 other teams on a day where field events start at 10:30 a.m. and field events at 11 a.m.

Princeton most recently competed at the Valentine Invitational in Boston, Massachusetts and the Fasttrack Invitational inside the Ocean Breeze Athletic Complex on Friday, February 14.
The Tigers have delivered some of the top performances in the Ivy League over the course of the season so far, including Charlotte O'Toole's time of 1:14.17 in the 500 meters at the Valentine which sits as the second-fastest 500 time in the conference.
In the 1000 the Tigers have produced the second and third fastest times thanks to Maggie Hock and Madeleine Sumner. Hock posted a time of 2:47.49 at the Valentine Invite and Sumner 2:48.48 at the HYP Meet. In the 3000, Sophie Cantine's time of 9:23.23 from the Columbia Challenge is the third-fastest in the Ivy League.
Hanne Borstlap's mark of 4.05 meters in the pole vault from the Fasttrack Invite is the second-best time in the Ivy League and Annika Kelly's mark of 18.19 meters in the shot put from the Crimson Elite meet is also third. The Tigers also have the third-fastest time in the 4x400 relay; Milana Malec, Heide Baron, Arianna Smith and Ashley Willingham clocked in at 3:42.05 at the Scarlet and White Invite.

The Tigers will compete at Heps on Saturday, February 29 and Sunday, March 1 in Ithaca, New York.
