Women’s Track & Field Competes in Final Meet Before Heps

PRINCETON, N.J. – With Heps not officially less than one week away, the Princeton University track & field team competed in its final regular season indoor meet Sunday inside Jadwin Gymnasium when it hosted the Princeton Invitational.
The 60 meters was a strong event for Princeton as Olivia Hee and Grace Lanouette finished second and third. Hee clocked in at 7.71 and Lanouette at 7.77.
The Tigers also finished second and third in the mile; Katherine Leggat-Barr clocked in at 5:01.15 to finish second and Sierra Castaneda in 5:04.45 to finish third
Princeton also earned two out of the top three spots in the pole vault as Hanne Borstlap won the event after clearing 3.95 meters and Alexandra Munson finished second after clearing 3.85 meters.

The Tigers will compete at Heps on Saturday, February 29 and Sunday, March 1 in Ithaca, New York.
