Women's Squash Team Readies for CSA Individual Championships

Nine Tigers are set to begin the CSA Individual Championships Friday at Penn with play continuing through March 8.

Elle Ruggiero and Raneem El Torky are both in the Ramsay Cup main draw and will compete against Drexel's Karina Tyma and Cornell's Subramaniam, respectively, at noon Friday in the first round. A win in the first round would match up the two Tigers in the quarterfinals.

India Stephenson and Emily Rose are in the Holleran North draw and are on the same side of the bracket, but the two teammates would not meet until the semifinals. Stephenson will start against Yale's Brianna Jefferson and Rose will go against Williams' Sarah Willwerth in 9:40 a.m. matches.

Grace Doyle is in the Holleran South draw and will start against Amherst's Lauren Weil at 9:40 a.m. In the Holleran East draw, Andrea Toth will meet Virginia's Julia Thompson in an 11 a.m. match, and Caroline Spahr will face Williams' Quan Ng Yu at 11:40 a.m.

In the Holleran West draw, Emme Leonard will take on Columbia's Elizabeth Lentz at 12:20 p.m., and Morgan Steelman will meet William Smith's Gabrielle Fraser at 1 p.m.
