Connors, Fillier Selected to Join Team Canada's Development Camp

A pair of Princeton women's hockey standouts have been selected to train virtually with Team Canada at its National Women's Development Camp, to be held throughout the summer.
Maggie Connors and Sarah Fillier, both rising juniors, were among the 50 players chosen. It will add to the list of Team Canada events and camps in which Connors and Fillier have participated, and both took part in the event last year. The selectees will connect online weekly over the summer.
Connors had her most points and assists in a season as a Tiger last winter, with 25 helpers and 22 goals on the way to 47 points, putting her at 90 points for her career. She was a second-team All-Ivy and third-team All-ECAC pick.
Fillier is halfway through a career that is shaping up to be among the best in program history, as she became the first Tiger ever to earn two AHCA All-America honors. The first-team All-Ivy and first-team All-ECAC pick is more than halfway to Princeton's career assists (122) and points (218) records, repeating her freshman year numbers of 22 goals and 35 assists for 57 points as a sophomore for 70 career assists and 114 career points.
Connors and Fillier helped Princeton to a second consecutive NCAA tournament bid this past season while helping deliver the Tigers their first ECAC tournament title in program history.
