Men's Cross Country Wins 22nd Ivy League Title

PRINCETON, N.J. – For the 22nd time in program history, the Princeton University men's cross country team are Ivy League Champions after finishing five in the top-nine at West Windsor Fields Saturday afternoon.
Along with earning a 22nd Ivy League Championship, Princeton won Heps for the 21st time. The Tigers have now won a Heps title at West Windsor on five occasions, with their other victories coming in 2011, 2012, 2014, and 2018.

Tokyo Olympian senior Ed Trippas led from the front for the Tigers, finishing second with a personal-best time 8K time of 23:26.3, besting his previous PR of 23:41.7 from the FSU Invite/Pre-Nats on Friday, October 15.
Senior Kevin Berry took third and earned a PR in 23:32.0, besting his previous PR from the 2019 Lehigh Paul Short Run of 24:52.3. Sophomore Anthony Monte impressed at his first Heps, clocking in at 23:55.8 to finish sixth, and sophomore Matthew Farrell finished eighth in 23:57.8. Senior Jakob Kintzele rounded out the Tigers' finishers in the top-nine, with a time of 24:08.7.
