Barakso ’16 Issues Formal Challenge For Oxford/Cambridge Boat Race

PRINCETON, N.J. – Marty Barakso '16, president of the Oxford University Boat Club, has issued the formal challenge to Cambridge for the prestigious 2022 Oxford/Cambridge Boat Race.
The 2022 Oxford/Cambridge Boat Race will take place in the Spring.
Last year, the race had three alumni in Sebastian Benzecry '20 (Cambridge), Augustin Wambersie '18 (Oxford) and Barakso '16 (Oxford). Cambridge took the race for the third straight time by one length, extending its overall lead in the series to 85-80-1.
Barasko is doing his postgraduate studies at the Kellogg College at Oxford, going for his masters in Latin American studies. While at Princeton, Barasko was a finalist for the Roper Trophy and helped the Tigers to two bronze medals at the IRA Championships.
