A season-opening doubleheader is set for Saturday at Brown for the third-ranked Princeton women's squash team, with the Tigers facing Brown at noon and Mount Holyoke at 3 p.m.
Princeton has won 27 straight against the Bears, with Brown's last win in the series coming in the 1995-96 season. Princeton faced Mount Holyoke in the 2007-08 and 2010-11 seasons, winning both.
The Tigers return four players who have earned All-Ivy recognition in past seasons, including Raneem El Torky, Elle Ruggiero, Emme Leonard and Caroline Spahr, with El Torky and Spahr counting Ivy Rookie of the Year honors among their accolades. El Torky, Ruggiero and Spahr have also earned All-America honors over the past two competitive seasons.
Following the trip to the Ocean State, Princeton will have its home openers next weekend, against Virginia on Nov. 20 and Williams on Nov. 21.
