Mason Hooks Honored as Ivy Rookie of the Week

IVY LEAGUE RELEASE

PRINCETON, N.J. – For the fourth time in 2021-22, a member of the Princeton University men's basketball team has earned a weekly honor from the Ivy League, as freshman Mason Hooks was named the conference's Rookie of the Week Monday.

In the Tigers' 100-59 win over Keane University on Tuesday, December 21, Hooks had 10 points on 5-for-5 shooting, along with a career-high three assists, and two rebounds.

Other Tigers to earn Ivy League weekly honors so far in 2021-22 include senior Ethan Wright, who was Ivy League Player of the Week on Monday, December 20, and Monday, November 22, along with senior Jaelin Llewellyn was Player of the Week honors on Monday, November 15.

The Tigers are in action next on Sunday, January 2, at 2 p.m. inside Lavietes Pavilion when it takes on Harvard University (8-4) in its Ivy League opener.
