Field Hockey Has 11 Named to 2020 NFHCA National Academic Squad

PRINCETON, N.J. – The Princeton Tigers had 11 members named to the 2020 National Field Hockey Coaches' Association National Academic Squad, the organization announced today.

The Division I National Academic Squad program honors student-athletes who have achieved a cumulative grade-point average of 3.3 or higher through the first semester of the 2020-2021 academic year.

Maddie Bacskai, Ophelie Bemelmans, Bridget Murphy, Grace Brightbrill, Margaret Lynch, Ellie Manriquez, Gracie McGowan, Sammy Popper, Clara Roth, Grace Schulze and Emma Street were all named to the list.

Bacsaki, Brightbrill, Lynch, Roth and Street were all named to the list four times. Those five were part of the Class of 2021 that went to three Final Fours, won two Ivy titles and reached the 2019 National Championship game.
