Women's Open Rowing's Busy Sunday Features Rutgers, Syracuse and Temple

PRINCETON, N.J. – The Princeton Women's Open Rowing Team will have a busy Sunday as it takes on No. 4 Rutgers and No. 9 Syracuse at Mercer Lake before welcoming Temple to Lake Carnegie.

The Tigers were back in action last weekend as all of its boats defeated Drexel on the Schuylkill River. The 1V boat beat Drexel by 14.1 seconds while the Princeton lightweight boat placed second. In the 2V race, Princeton won against the Dragons' two boats by 12.7 and 48 seconds. In the V4 event, the Tigers easily disposed of the two Drexel boats by over 23 seconds.

Rutgers' No. 4 ranking is its highest in program history as the Scarlet Knights won 12 of 21 races at the Big Ten Invitational. Syracuse is in the top 10 nationally in consecutive weeks for the first time ever.
