All Four Rowing Teams To Be Represented At U-23 World Rowing Championships

RACINE, Czech Republic – All four Princeton rowing teams will have representatives at the U-23 World Rowing Championships this week (July 7-11).

"What a remarkable feat for the boathouse to see all of the teams at the U-23 World Rowing Championships," said Princeton heavyweight coach Greg Hughes. "It speaks to how successful each program has been and how tremendous the Princeton rowing community is."

Erik Spinka '23 (United States 4+), Keelan Good '24 (United States 4x), Nate Phelps '23 (United States 4x), Stephane Pienaar '22 (South Africa 2-), Tassilo von Mueller '21 (Germany 8+), Floyd Benedikter '23 (Germany 8+), Jelmer Bennema '23 (Netherlands 4-) and Joe Wolfin '22 (Great Britain alternate) are from the men's heavyweight team.

Men's lightweight members Sydney Edwards '21 (United States 8+), Aaron Wenk '25 (Germany 4x), Nick Aarnow '25 (M1x), David Van Velden '25 (Netherlands 4x), and Eion Gaffney '24 (Ireland 2x) are also in this event.

Bonnie Pushner '24 (United States L2-) and Cecilia Sommerfeld '25 (Germany L2-) will represent the women's lightweight unit.

Women's Open Crew's Lucy Koven '24 (United States 2-), Anne du Croo Jongh '25 (Netherlands 4-), Greta Jaanson'24 (Estonia 1x), Flo Donald '22 (Great Britain Alternate) and Katherine George '25 (Great Britain 2x) round out the 20 connections to Princeton in the field.
