Women’s Volleyball to Host Penn in Home Opener

PRINCETON, N.J. – On the heels of five-straight wins, the Princeton University women's volleyball team will open Ivy League play against the University of Pennsylvania and host its first home match of 2021 Friday night inside Dillon Gymnasium.
In its most recent match, Princeton overcame Temple University 3-1 (25-23, 23-25, 25-20, 25-21) at the City Classic on Saturday, September 18, inside McGonigle Hall. Princeton is led in kills by junior Elena Montgomery with 112, and assists by junior Lindsey who has 314 on the season. Kelly is also currently leading the Ivy League in kills per set, averaging 11.21. Junior Cameron Dames leads Princeton in digs with 125, while senior Julia Schner's 29 blocks are a team-high. Sophomore Krystal Raymundo has a team-high 15 service aces.
Penn most recently fell 3-1 (20-25, 28-26, 25-22, 27-25) to Temple on Saturday, September 18. Autumn Leak leads the Quakers in kills with 158, while Sydney Orminston has a team-high 273 assists and nine service aces. Caroline Douglas leads the team in digs with 131 and Daniela Fornaciari in blocks with 24.
Princeton and Penn last met on October 25, 2019, at the Palestra and the Tigers earned a 3-0 (25-19, 26-24, 25-22) victory.
Attendance Policies
Fans who wish to attend home athletic events at Princeton will be required to follow the below protocols. These policies also apply to working members of the media covering events at Princeton. Fans and media wishing to attend contests away from Princeton should consult that institution's policies before traveling.

Indoor Athletic Events:
- The University's current visitor policy (found here) states that all visitors attending an indoor University-sponsored event, public performance, varsity and athletics event, and religious service must be vaccinated with no exceptions. Please note that per this current University policy, children under 12 years of age may not enter any campus buildings or attend any indoor events at this time.
- Masking that covers the mouth and nose is required at all times regardless of vaccination status.
- Social distancing is recommended, when possible. Parties that arrive together can sit together.
- Hand sanitizer stations available inside the facilities.
*Fully Vaccinated is defined as two weeks after the second dose of a two-dose vaccine or two weeks after the single-dose vaccine
