Sondre Guttormsen Sets New Ivy Record at World Pole Vault Summit

RENO, Nev. – Junior Sondre Guttormsen of the Princeton University men's track & field team set a new Ivy League record Friday night at the World Pole Vault Summit.
Guttormsen cleared 5.71 meters, besting the previous record held by his brother, junior Simen Guttormsen, of 5.51 meters set at the Joe Handelman Invitational on Sunday, December 12, 2021.
Simen Guttormsen also competed at the World Pole Vault Summit, and cleared 5.61 meters to set a new PR and move up to No. 2 on the Tigers' all-time list.
