January 15, 2022 | Women's Track and Field
ANNAPOLIS, MD – The Princeton University women's track and field team put on a display in Annapolis, defeating Navy 103-77. The Tigers set five top-10 school performances en route to victory.
"Collectively, they are learning to fight together not just on meet days, but every day in practice," said head coach Michelle Eisenreich. "They are challenging each other to higher levels of accountability and we are starting to see the pay off."
In the 200 meters, Isabella Hilditch moved into fifth all-time with a time of 24.46, surpassing Grace Lanouette's 24.68 at Scarlet & White in 2020. Lanouette also competed in the event, placing third (25.70).
In the 1000 meters, Caroline Timm went 2:48.98, good enough for eighth all-time. That eclipses Madison Offstein's mark (2:49.02) from the HYPs in 2019. Meanwhile, Fiona Max (2:52.78) placed second.
Emily Garner and Madeleine Wood tied for first in the high jump, both leaping 1.73 meters. That ties both women for fifth all-time in school history.
