Women's Squash Takes Eight Matches in National Top-Four Contest with Yale

In what was a matchup of two of the nation's top four teams, the No. 3-ranked Princeton women's squash team took eight of nine matches on Saturday in an 8-1 win over Yale.
The Yale match was the first of two on the weekend against fellow top-four teams, with the Tigers headed to No. 2 Trinity on Sunday for a 1 p.m. match. Live scoring is available here.
Princeton (6-1, 2-1 Ivy) got a win from Andrea Toth at the top spot and from Raneem El Torky, Caroline Spahr, Emme Leonard, Katherine Glaser, Olivia Robinson, Katherine Sapinski and Molly Chadwick in spots three through nine. All but Sapinski's win came in at least four games, with El Torky winning in five after opponent Christy Tin Yan Lau forced a fifth game after El Torky went up 2-1. Chadwick saw Yale's Nina Mittal win the first game 13-11 before Chadwick swept the rest to win in four.
The win extended Princeton's streak in the Yale (4-2, 1-2) series to 11 matches since the Bulldogs' last win over the Tigers in 2014, and to six in a row at Yale since the Bulldogs last won at home over Princeton in 2012.
