Women's Squash Team Set to Visit Two Top-Four Opponents This Weekend

By the end of the weekend, the No. 3-ranked Princeton women's squash team will have faced all of the other teams in the top four of the current Collegiate Squash Association rankings, with Princeton set to visit No. 4 Yale on Saturday and No. 2 Trinity on Sunday.

Princeton (5-1, 1-1 Ivy) split its Ivy-opening pair of matches last weekend in Jadwin Gym, sweeping No. 12 Dartmouth 9-0 and coming up just a match short against No. 1 Harvard 5-4.
Against Yale, Princeton has won 10 straight overall, with Yale's last win in the series coming in 2014. Princeton has won five straight over Yale in New Haven, with the Bulldogs' last home win over Princeton coming in 2012. Yale (4-1, 1-1 Ivy) opened its Ivy season last weekend with a win over Cornell and a loss to Columbia. Both Princeton and Yale have already faced Virginia and Brown this season and both in November, with Princeton winning 6-3 over Virginia and 8-1 over Brown, and Yale winning 7-2 over Virginia and 9-0 over Brown.
Against Trinity, Princeton won the last meeting, in 2020 in Jadwin, after Trinity won at home in the 2019 CSA team tournament. Princeton won at Trinity earlier in 2019 in the regular season. The Bantams (5-0) also played Columbia and Cornell last weekend, winning both matches.
Following the weekend in Connecticut, Princeton will have its final full Ivy weekend, heading to Cornell on Jan. 28 and hosting Columbia on Jan. 30.
