Men’s Swimming and Diving in Front of Yale, Behind Harvard after Day One of HYPs

NEW HAVEN, Conn. – After Day One of HYPs, the Princeton University men's swimming and diving team find themselves ahead of Yale 104.50-81.50 and behind Harvard 118-68.
The Tigers placed in the top three in seven of ten events, including three first place finishes. Raunak Khosla accounted for two of those, racing in the 200 butterfly (1:43.49) and the 200 IM (1:45.43). Dylan Porges accounted for the other, going 15:09.11 in the 1650.
In the 100 backstroke, Tyler Hong (48.10) placed third.
The relays proved to be a success, with the team of Tyler Hong, Raunak Khosla, Nicholas Lim, and Max Walther (3:11.85) taking second in the 400 medley relay, while the quartet of Brian Lou, Nathan Yates, Brett Feyerick, and Nicholas Lim (1:19.94) finished third in the 200 free relay.
In the 1-meter dive, Taso Callanan (340.15) took second place and Colten Young (334.95) finished third.
Next up: The Tigers continue day two of HYPs tomorrow with diving at 9:30 and swimming at noon.
