Victoria Liu, Catherine Rao, Tiffany Kong, Yu Kyung Kim and Grace Ni will represent the Princeton women's golf team in the Tigers' final event of the fall, the Ruth's Chris Tar Heel Invitational hosted by North Carolina at the Governor's Club in Chapel Hill, N.C.
Live scoring for the event will be available here. Play is set for two rounds Monday and one Tuesday on the par-72, 6,203-yard course with play getting underway Monday in a 9 a.m. shotgun start.
Along with Princeton and host UNC in the tournament are Duke, Furman, Georgia, Kentucky, Louisville, Michigan, Michigan State, N.C. State, UNC Wilmington, Rollins, Tennessee, Virginia Tech and Wake Forest. The field is a strong one, with 14 top-100 teams included and Princeton among them at No. 58 in the most recent Golfweek team rankings. Two are top-10 on that list, in No. 2 Wake Forest and No. 7 Duke.
The event will close a fall season for Princeton that saw sophomore Victoria Liu win the Princeton Invitational and the Tigers' first medalist at the annual home event since 2007 and finish as the top Ivy team at the Ivy Intercollegiate at Baltusrol earlier this month. Liu was the top Ivy player at the Ivy Intercollegiate event and won a match-play round against the top ACC finisher, UNC's Krista Junkkari.
