No. 17 Princeton Men's Cross Country Ready for Regionals

Princeton N.J. - Coming off of a first-place, team finish at the 2022 Ivy League Heptagonal championships, the No. 17 Princeton men's cross-country team is set to compete at this year's NCAA Regional meet on Friday at Penn State University.
On Friday, The Princeton men will be participating in the Mid-Atlantic Regional championship 10k race that is officially set to begin at 11:30 a.m.
The race was rescheduled to begin earlier in the day in order to avoid potential, inclement weather.
The top two teams within each regional secure automatic bids to the NCAA championship at Oklahoma State University on November 19th. The first four regional finishers that are not from an automatic qualifying team also secure a bid. A strong, regional performance is crucial in order to advance towards the national title.
The most recent USTFCCCA NCAA Division I Men's Cross Country National Coaches' Poll following the Tiger's Championship performance at Heps, landed the Tigers at No. 17. This current ranking is two spots higher than their previous.
In the Mid-Atlantic Regional Rankings, the team currently sits in the No. 2 spot, just one place behind nationally ranked No.11 Villanova.
The team, led by Ivy League Coach of the Year Jason Vigilante, has displayed their depth and grit all season long, and is ready to continue to compete at a national level.
At last year's, Mid-Atlantic Regionals, The Tigers finished first as a team, earned an automatic bid to the NCAA Championship, and qualified for their 17th NCAA Championship as a team.
No matter the weather conditions, The Tigers will be ready to compete for their 18th trip to the Championship on Friday in University Park.
