WASHINGTON, D.C. -- Princeton dialed up a successful start to the 2022 season, winning all three races against Georgetown on the Potomac River.
The 1V, defending IRA champions, cruised to a 13.1-second win over the Hoyas to retain the Class of 2006 Cup, while Princeton also had comfortable wins in the V4 and V2.
The Tigers are now 17-1 all-time in Class of 2006 Cup races.
"It was an eventful day on the water, but our group fought through the conditions and set a good tone for the season," said head coach Paul Rassam. "We've been building towards this moment throughout the fall and winter training, and that excitement helped us navigate the rough weather and focus on the task at hand. We're excited to keep getting better each week."
