Virginia Challenge and Rider Invitational on Deck for Women’s Track and Field

CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. – The Princeton University women's track and field team will participate in the Virginia Challenge from April 22 – April 23. Competition begins at 9:00 a.m. on Friday and 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. Princeton will attend the Rider Invitational (11:00 a.m. start) on Saturday as well.
In their most recent outing at the Miami Hurricane Alumni Invitational, the Tigers delivered three top-10 school performances. Siniru Iheoma (15.58 m) recorded a distance of 15.58 meters in the shotput, landing her second all-time in school history. Meanwhile, Caroline Timm moved into fifth all-time in school history with a time of 4:20.41 in the 1500 meters. Finally, Luisa Chantler Edmond logged a mark of 54.74 meters in the hammer throw, placing her sixth all-time in school history.
