PRINCETON, N.J. – The No. 4 Princeton women's rowing team will travel to Cooper River Park for the 2022 Ivy League Championships on Sunday.
"We have had a great regular season," said Princeton head coach Lori Dauphiny. "We are grateful to have each other and a full season! It was not without challenges, but the team persevered and stepped up to the issues we faced. We attacked it one week at a time and have made good progress."
Princeton's only loss this season has been to No. 1 Texas by four seconds. The Tigers have victories over No. 3 Yale, No. 6 Ohio State, No. 7 Brown, No. 8 Penn, No. 16 Rutgers, No. 19 Tennessee, Harvard, Cornell and Wisconsin.
The Ivy League has not raced since 2019. Princeton has won the last four Ivy titles and seven of the last nine. The Ivy representative in the NCAA Rowing Championships is determined by the team that wins the Sally P. Shoemaker Trophy, the highest point total in the V8, 2V8 and V4 events.
Racing begins on Sunday at 8 a.m. The Finals get underway in the afternoon at 2:20 p.m. The V8 Grand Final is set for 4:05 p.m.
