Princeton to Open NCAA Regional Monday at Stanford

An NCAA Regional field that includes eight Golfstat top-50 teams and 32 top-250 players will be competing alongside the Ivy League champion Princeton women's golf team for 54 holes beginning Monday at the Stanford Golf Course in Stanford, Calif.

Play will begin each day at 8 a.m. PT/11 a.m. ET for one round daily, Monday through Wednesday. Live scoring will be available here.

The 12 teams at the regional will be competing for four spots at the NCAA Championships, which will begin May 20 at Grayhawk Golf Club in Scottsdale, Ariz. Outside of those four teams, the top two players at the regional will advance to the NCAA Championships as individuals.

Stanford, USC, LSU, Texas Tech, Kentucky, Iowa State, Northwestern, Purdue, UNLV, Cal Poly and Sacred Heart are in the regional field with Princeton.

Victoria Liu, Yu Kyung Kim, Kyung Eun Lee, Tiffany Kong and Caris Kim will represent Princeton at the NCAA regional. Liu is coming off being Princeton's 11th medalist at the Ivy League Championships while Yu Kyung Kim and Lee had top-10 finishes to earn second-team All-Ivy honors.

As a team, Princeton will be making its sixth appearance and third in the team's last four competitive seasons, along with 2017 and 2018. Whether qualifying to the regional individually or with the team, Princeton has advanced three players to the NCAA Championships, in Mary Moan '97 (1997), Kelly Shon '14 (2013), and Maya Walton '20 (2017).
