No. 3 Colgate Takes Weekend-Opening Game From No. 13/14 Princeton

No. 3 Colgate defeated the No. 13/14-ranked Princeton women's hockey team 7-1 on Friday night in Hamilton, N.Y. to open the Tigers' ECAC Hockey trip to Central New York.
Colgate scored four times in the first period and added two more in the second before Princeton got on the board with a Sarah Paul rebound goal with less than six minutes to go in the frame. Colgate answered just more than two minutes later for what became the final goal of the night.
Princeton will head to No. 6-ranked Cornell to wrap the weekend on Saturday at 3 p.m.
