2024 Schedule
PRINCETON – The Princeton Men's Heavyweight Rowing Team's 2024 season will get underway at Lake Carnegie on Mar. 30 vs. Georgetown/Drexel/Temple.
Head coach Greg Hughes' squad heads on the road to take on Navy on Apr. 6. The battle vs. the Childs Cup vs. Penn and Columbia will get underway on Apr. 13 at Lake Carnegie. Princeton has won the Childs Cup 11 straight times.
The Tigers head to Cambridge, Mass. For the Compton Cup race vs. Harvard (Apr. 20). Princeton won the Compton Cup for the first time since 2016 with a 4.8-second victory in 2023.
Princeton continues on the road at Cornell with Yale for the Carnegie Cup on Apr. 27 before the regular season finale vs. Brown for the Content Cup at home.
Eastern Sprints takes place on May 19 in Worcester, Mass with the IRA Championships going on in West Windsor, N.J. from May 31-June 2. The Tigers earned two silvers at the 2023 Eastern Sprints and followed that with a fourth-place team finish at the IRAs along with a bronze by the varsity eight.
"After a fantastic 2023 season, our team has put in hard work to improve for the 2024 campaign," said Hughes. "We're very excited to see how we progress in 2024 en route to the IRA Championships at the end of May and early June. Go Tigers!"
