Caden Pierce Earns Fourth Ivy Rookie of the Week Honor

PRINCETON, N.J. – The Ivy League announced its weekly awards Monday afternoon, and freshman Caden Pierce was honored as Rookie of the Week for the fourth time in the 2022-23 season.

Pierce helped the Tigers earn their ninth Ivy League victory the season on Saturday, February 25, inside Lavietes Pavilion in Cambridge, Massachusetts, when Princeton took down Harvard 58-56. He ended the contest as the Tigers' leading rebounder with eight, and second-leading scorer with nine points.

The Tigers have now won the Ivy Rookie of the Week award six times, with Xaivian Lee and Deven Austin each winning the award once in addition to Pierce winning it four times.

Princeton is in action next on Saturday, March 4, inside Jadwin Gymnasium in a game broadcast live on ESPNews. The winner will clinch at least a share of the regular season championship.
