Philadelphia, PA - The Princeton women's track and field team is set for another great weekend of outdoor competition on Saturday, April 1st at the Big Five Invitational.
The outdoor season is already off to a great start for the Tigers, who recorded nine, top-ten Princeton all-time performances at last weekends' Raleigh Relays including a new school record from Brianna Mponzi in the 100m.
Mponzi's time of 11.64 is not only a Princeton best but is the 7th fastest time in Ivy League history.
Alexandra Kelly's 12.84m leap in the Triple Jump will serve as the No. 2 best Princeton performance, and Tia Rozario's 12.80m mark will land her name at No. 3 in addition to being a new all-time Singapore record.
Tessa Mudd continues to dominate in the pole vault. Last weekend in Raleigh, she completed a 4.05m vault to land at No.3 all-time on the Princeton top-ten list.
Javelin thrower Shea Greene completed a 44.68m throw for her collegiate debut to earn herself a spot at No. 3 on the all-time performances list.
Thrower Katie Peterson will be listed at No. 5 on the list for her showing in the hammer throw following her mark of 57.25m at the Raleigh Relays.
Arianna Smith recorded two top-ten performances last weekend. In the 100m hurdles, Smith finished in 14.02 to earn No. 6 all-time for Princeton and in the 400m Smith finished in 54.74 to take No. 6 all-time.
The final top-ten Princeton performance came from Lily Parris, Brianna Mponzi, Harlowe Brumett-Dunn, and Olivia Hee in the 4x100m relay. The squad finished in 46.71 to take No. 8 on the top-ten performances list.
The Tiger women will have plenty of opportunities to compete this weekend and continue to record personal bests and set more outdoor records. Below is the full schedule of events:
