
Women's Track & Field Executes Strong Performances at Big 5 Invitational

Philadelphia, PA - Princeton women's track and field had several strong performances at the Big 5 Invitational in Philadelphia on Saturday afternoon despite some rainy conditions outdoors.
Big 5 Meet Track Performances
In the 100m hurdles, Arianna Smith led the way for the Tigers with a first-place finish, clocking in at 13.94 seconds. Smith's performance will place her time at No. 5 on the Princeton all-time performances list.
In the 100m, Harlowe Brumett-Dunn took first place with a time of 12.14, while Lily Parris finished eighth at 12.65.
Lily Parris and Adelaide Asante also had strong showings, finishing third and fourth. Parris's time was 14.54 and Asante's 14.71.
Harlowe Brumett-Dunn and India Ingemi both finished in the top six in the 200m, with Brumett-Dunn finishing fourth (24.76) and Ingemi finishing sixth (25.13).
In the 400m, Brianna Mponzi led the way for the Tigers with a second-place finish, crossing the finish line at 56.86 seconds.
A squad of Tigers also finished strong in the 400m. India Ingemi, Lauren Harris, Stella Vieth, and Maddie Cramer also competed. Ingemi placed third (57.35), Harris sixth (57.86), Vieth ninth (59.25), and Cramer 12th (59.99)
Arianna Smith took home first place in the 400m hurdles with a time of 58.76 seconds that will rank her performance No. 2 all-time for Princeton.
Adelaide Asante finished fifth in the same event, coming in at 1:03.43.
In the 1500m, Mari Noble and Angie Allen both competed for Princeton. Noble finished in 4:45.88 and Allen finished shortly behind in 4:53.45.
Big 5 Meet Field Performances
The Tiger women throwers had quite the day in Philadelphia!
Siniru Iheoma had an outstanding performance in the discus throw, taking home first place with a throw of 51.77m. Iheoma's performance will now rank No. 2 on the Princeton all time performances list.
Niki Woods took home first place in the women's javelin throw with a throw of 42.16m. Woods' performance will stand at No. 7 all time for Princeton.
Tessa Mudd cleared 4.08m in the pole vault to maintain her spot at No. 3 on the Princeton all time performances list.
SJ Cohen will land at No. 7 on the list, following her 3.93m vault. Ella Rubinshtein, also competed, clearing 3.63m.
Katie Peterson had a strong showing in the women's hammer throw, finishing first with a throw of 53.22m. Madeline Wolford also competed, finishing sixth with a throw of 45.88m.
The Princeton women's team had a strong showing at the Big 5 Invitational, with several athletes finishing in the top three in their events and others executing strong performances on Franklin Filed.
