No. 1 Women's Crew Takes On No. 8 Penn Saturday

PRINCETON – The No. 1 Princeton Women's Open Rowing Team welcomes the No. 8 Penn Quakers to Lake Carnegie Saturday.
Head coach Lori Dauphiny's crew took down the No. 1 Texas Longhorns and No. 3 Yale Bulldogs last weekend in a thrilling race that featured a furious Texas rally over the final 250 meters. Princeton's .8-second victory ended Texas' 22-race winning streak, a stretch that saw its boats go 76-0.
Princeton's 1V has collected victories over Brown, Rhode Island, No. 14 Harvard, Cornell, No. 1 Texas and No. 3 Yale. The Tigers' top boat last went undefeated in 2019 and last reached the No. 1 spot in the CRCA Coaches' Poll in 2011.
