Heavies' 1V Secures Second-Team All-Ivy

PRINCETON – The Men's Heavyweight Rowing Team had its 1V named Second-Team All-Ivy, the league announced today.
Connor Neill, James Quinlan, Marco Misasi, Theo Bell, Marcus Chute, Hanno Brach, Nathan Phelps, Patrick Long and Nick Taylor picked up the second-team honors. Phelps was Academic All-Ivy.
The 1V that went stroke for stroke with Yale over the 2000m course, and while the Tigers were just over a second from gold, they were able to outlast Syracuse by less than 0.5 seconds to earn the silver -- the 1V's first silver medal since that '16 race and first medal of any kind since the 2017 1V claimed bronze.
The Tigers now turn their attention to the IRA Championships (June 2-4) in West Windsor.
