Brown Drops Baseball in Regular Season Finale

PRINCETON – The Princeton Baseball Team fell to the Brown Bears, 11-4, at Clarke Field to wrap up the regular season.
After the two teams exchanged runs, Kyle Vinci doubled home Scott Bandura and Brendan Cumming to put the home squad ahead, 3-1.
Brown scored eight times in the second inning highlighted by two-run singles from Mark Henshon and Ray Sass.
Henson recorded two more RBI with a single in the fifth and fielders' choice in the ninth.
Reece Rabin threw 5 1/3 innings in relief, scattering six hits and allowing just one unearned run. Eric Hoefer also threw a scoreless frame, striking out one.
Vinci had two hits and had two RBI in the loss.
Princeton will wait for its Ivy Tournament fate as Columbia, Penn and Harvard play next weekend to determine seeding. The Ivy Tournament will take place at the top seed May 19-22nd.
